bingo is al's bag. he frequently declares his love for it on home improvement & even missed a tool time episode taping when his favourite bingo caller died (brad filled in). the guy who played al, richard karn, let the character take over his life, it seems. he went on to write no less than three handyman/home renovation-related books & hosted a bingo game show. that's the kind of commitment you don't get in this country. yeah, i'm looking at you toadfish/ryan moloney, lawrence mooney was right about you.
